About Us

The Military Officers   Association of America, California Council of Chapters The California Council of Chapters (CALMOAA) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and an affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America.  (MOAA). Together, we are "One Powerful Voice," dedicated to making a meaningful impact for the entire military community—including active-duty service members, retirees, and surviving spouses of all ranks.

As a nonprofit organization, CALMOAA operates exclusively for the benefit of the military community and not for private gain. It is organized and administered under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law and the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(19) to fulfill its mission of advocacy, support, and service.
All Officers of all the branches of the uniformed services are welcomed to join our organization.  Today we have 23 chapters and more than 1,200  members in the state of California.

Mission

  • Promote the aims of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), as stated in the preamble to the bylaws of that association; further the legislative and other objectives of MOAA.
